Summary:
Our Client is a well-established, state-of-the-art electronics company that specializes in RF, analog and digital communications equipment. They have hired Hallmark to help them find a QA Technician to add to their team. The person would be responsible for manually setting up test equipment and manually testing circuit boards, as well as programming and running Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment. This is a first shift, temp-to-hire role, transitioning to a staff position after five months.
Responsibilities:
? Test various circuit board and chassis to comply with customer's specifications. ? Sets up standard test equipment to conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and repeatability of Automated Test Equipment (ATE). ? Analyzes and interprets test data. ? Complete paperwork associated with testing. ? Generate the appropriate documentation, records, and reports ? Analysis using visual inspection, optical microscope, and specialized electrical test equipment ? Review and verification of process documentation ? General quality inspection of products. ? ? Have strong skills with volt meters, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies and signal generators. ? Ability to read and understand data displayed in multiple graphed formats. ? Good deductive reasoning ability for troubleshooting test equipment setups. ? Willing to be open minded and to perform all tasks that are needed. ? Experience running AOI Systems and/or the capability to be adequately trained. ? Strong computer skills and use of technology. ? Possess a strong focus on quality and attention to detail. ? Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. ? Preferred
Qualifications:
o Experience programming AOI Systems or Surface Mount Technology equipment. Experience with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) controls and mitigation. Capability of being adequately trained in IPC Standards, to include 610, 620, J-STD. Physical Requirements:
? Temperature of the work area may be affected by outside temperatures and machining. ? Ability to lift, transport and assemble electronics boards, chassis and component parts. ? Ability to sit and or stand for duration of shift. ? Ability to work utilizing a microscope for long periods of time OTHER:
